[City of Baraboo] Application :Pawnbroker, Secondhand Dealer, Mall/Flea Market

Hello applicant. You are about to apply for a PAWNBROKER, SECONDHAND JEWELRY DEALER, SECONDHAND ARTICLE DEALER, OR SECONDHAND ARTICLE DEALER MALL OR FLEA MARKET LICENSE. Here are a few pointers to help you along the way.

Gather the following documents to help you complete your application.

1. Your conviction records including date of conviction, offense, and penalty.

2. Names, dates of birth, addresses and telephone numbers for all partners or corporate officers.

3. Pawnbrokers only: A license bond of $500.00 with not less than two sureties is required. You are required to attach a copy to your application.

You will not be able to save an incomplete application. If you have to quit before finishing you have the ability to print the incomplete application for later reference. You must be 18 years of age to apply. A record check will be conducted for all applicants.

Payment is required at the end of the process. Payment options include: online, US mail, or in person. More details will be provided at the completion of the application.

After completing application and payment, please allow 15 days for processing.
